For the first time we held a korfball course for teachers arrived from 3 different grammary schools in Dunakeszi and Sződliget(north of Budapest). With this 3-days course we have started the life of our very first Korfball Cell in Dunakeszi. From this time 16 teachers can introduce korfball to a lot of kids.
During the theoretical sessions the participants discussed the objectives of korfball, the technical terms, the basics of attack and defence, and the way to build up the shooting movements. With video explanation we introduced the rules and also answered questions from the participants. In the practical part, the trainings focused on the different korfball shots, the attacking patterns and defence.
Now the teachers will introduce korfball in P.E. lessons and then the first trainings will come, while in December we'll organize a Santa Cup, where the Cell's teams will compete according to the Street Korfball rules.
