The field will be build at the Kossuth Orphans House, Budapest, 16 Menyecske str. Planned date of construction: Sept-Nov, 2009. Further donations are welcome! Each square meter of the field costs HUF 7.000 (EUR 25).
Measurements: 22 m x 22 m, 40 cm deep sand (alltogether: 250 m3 sand), with geotextile foil (500 m2) underneath.
The field will contain:
1 standard beach korfball field (20 m x 20 m)
2 standard beach volleyball fields (8 m x 16 m) and
2 beach soccer fields (11 m x 22 m).
The field will be surronded by a 120 cm high plank (90 m, 110 m2), to prevent the contamination of the sand, and keep the sand inside.
Overall budget: HUF 3.370.000,- = EUR 12.000,-

Further donations are welcome! Each square meter of the field costs HUF 7.000 (EUR 25), but even 1 Euro will help.
If you adopt 1 sqare meter, we will indicate your name on this page, and we will engrave it on the copper plate put on the plank of the field. We will be happy to send you a photo of the plate, with the kids pointing at your name! Just send us your email, and will send you the photo, as soon as the construction of the field is finished.
